Forest Department officials along with snake catchers from eight districts attended a workshop on ‘Human Snake conflict mitigation’ and received training at the Andhra Pradesh State Forest Academy in Rajamahendravaram on Friday. Eastern Ghats Wildlife Society Founder K.L.S. Murthy led the training session.

Rajamahendravaram Chief Conservator of Forest B.N.N. Murthy appealed to youths to pursue scientific training in snake rescue and catching. He said: “The training will aid snake conservation and prevent any untoward incidents.”
