On the second and penultimate day of filing nominations for Telangana Municipal Elections, 7403 nominations were received from 7080 candidates on Thursday (January 29, 2026), as per latest information from Telangana State Election Commission. The last date to file the nomination is on Friday. The 2026 polls to the seven Municipal Corporations and 116 Municipalities would be held on February 11 and the counting will be taken up on February 13. The results would be announced soon after the counting concludes.
