Minister for Information and Public Relations Kolusu Parthasarathy on Wednesday (January 21) said the recent incident in Pinnelli village in Gurazala Constituency in Palnadu district was being deliberately politicised by the YSRCP despite it being a purely personal dispute.

Addressing mediapersons at Secretariat, the Minister said the incident occurred due to long-standing personal enmity between two individuals, Salman and Pethuru, and had no political affiliation whatsoever. He strongly condemned attempts to give the incident a political colour, calling it an unethical misuse of a tragic event.

Parthasarathy said communal tensions in Hyderabad and factional violence in Rayalaseema had been firmly curbed under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He pointed out that Pinnelli village remained peaceful between 2014 and 2019, and that personal disputes between the two individuals began only during a procession in 2019 under YSRCP rule, eventually culminating in the present incident.

Parthasarathy asserted that under TDP rule, law and order would be enforced impartially, and justice would prevail irrespective of political affiliations.
