The 63rd Kerala State-level Shastra Competitions 2025–26, organised by the Central Sanskrit University, will be held on Thursday and Friday at Adarsha Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Balussery. Students from colleges and universities across Kerala will participate in various events aimed at promoting Sanskrit learning and scholarly engagement. Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Vice-Chancellor K.K. Geethakumari will inaugurate the programme. The Saptarshi Sammananam, held alongside the inauguration, will honour scholars, with Srinivasa Varakhedi, Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, attending as guest. R.G. Muralikrishna, Registrar of the varsity, and S. Subrahmanya Sarma will be present. Cash awards, trophies, and honours for seven eminent Sanskrit scholars from Kerala will be presented, said E.
