70-year-old hacked to death – The Hindu

The teacher of a government higher secondary school allegedly hacked to death a 70-year-old man, who murdered his father 17 years ago.

Police said Kali, 70, of Therkkumedu under Puliyarai police station limits murdered his relative and government school teacher Murugaiah of the same area in 2009 due to prior enmity. After serving the jail term in this murder case, Kali was released from the jail and was living in Therkkumedu.
