A 38-year-old woman ended her life at her residence in Rajendranagar on Friday night allegedly due to prolonged emotional distress linked to infertility. The victim, identified as G Swetha Bind, a homemaker, was living with her husband in a flat in Gandipet. According to Rajendranagar police, the couple had been married for 18 years but did not have children, which allegedly left Swetha deeply distressed and battling depression. On Friday night, she consumed a poisonous substance and was immediately rushed to a hospital. However, she succumbed while undergoing treatment. Following a complaint lodged by her family members, police registered a case. The body was handed over to the family following postmortem examination. Further investigation is underway.
