Two-day ‘13th International Health Dialogue 2026’, organised by Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad, was inaugurated on Friday (January 30, 2026). On day 1 of the conference, speakers highlighted how India’s experience in delivering healthcare at scale is increasingly influencing global health policy and patient safety frameworks. Sangita Reddy, joint managing director, Apollo Hospitals Group, said the IHD was conceived as a platform to enable cross-learning between health systems across the world. Emphasising the role of public policy and inclusivity, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Tourism Department, said patient safety solutions must be rooted in real-world diversity, as per a press note.
