Twelve passengers were injured after a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus collided with an oncoming lorry on the Kothirampur bypass road in Karimnagar district early on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) morning. The accident was reported around 6 a.m. when the bus was travelling from Karimnagar towards Hyderabad. According to preliminary information, the lorry, approaching from the opposite direction, attempted to take a right turn towards Peddapalli and struck the front portion of the bus.
