Jana Sena Party leader K. Nagababu on Saturday said the YSR Congress Party would be confined to single-digit seats in the 2029 general elections as it had failed to play a constructive role as an Opposition during the last two years.

Mr. Nagababu attended as the chief guest at the 13th foundation day celebrations of the Jana Sena Party organised by party Etcherla incharge S. Vishwaksen at Etcherla in Srikakulam district.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nagababu said that 11 YSRCP MLAs had abstained from the Assembly sessions and failed to raise people’s issues in the House.

He alleged that former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was encouraging violence and unrest, and said the inciting statements made by leaders of the Opposition party reflected the same.

Mr. Vishwaksen said the Jana Sena Party was fully geared up for the local body elections as people were keen to extend their support to Deputy Chief Minister and JSP president Pawan Kalyan, who had brought development in rural and tribal areas during the last two years.
