Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 15 Special Edition for mid segment buyers | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Xiaomi on Thursday (April 2, 2026) launched Redmi Note 15 Special Edition in India for the budget segment users. It compliments the Redmi 15 series launched earlier, and brings features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search. It also offers MIL-STD-810H standards, along with IP65 and IP66 ratings for protection against dust and splashes under controlled conditions. Redmi Note 15 Special Edition has a 6.77 inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. Redmi Note 15 Special Edition ships with a 5,800 mAh battery, supported by 45W charger inside the box. It also features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, along with AI-powered active noise cancellation. Redmi Note 15 Special Edition runs on Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It will get 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates. Redmi Note 15 Special Edition sports a 50 MP dual rear camera and a 20 MP front camera. There are AI-powered tools, including AI Erase, AI Sky, AI Bokeh, AI Beautify, and AI Reflection Removal, as well. Redmi Note 15 Special Edition starts at ₹24,999 for the 6 GB/128 GB variant. The 8 GB/128 GB variant will cost ₹25,999 while the 8 GB/256 GB model can be purchased at ₹27,999. Redmi Note 15 SE will sell starting April 7, across Flipkart and Mi in Crimson Reserve, Carbon Black, and Frosted White shades.
