World Down Syndrome Day was observed at the Institute of Social Paediatrics, Government Stanley Medical College Hospital (SMCH), on Friday. In line with the World Down Syndrome Day that falls on March 21, an awareness programme was organised at the hospital, according to a press release. The event emphasised the importance of this year’s World Down Syndrome Day theme — “Together Against Loneliness”.
