Delivering the inaugural address at a three-day national workshop on “Ethnography and Documentation of Culture”, which commenced at Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) here on Sunday, Prof. Gangadhar remarked that culture forms the essence of human identity and pointed out that ethnography is not merely a research tool, but a means of understanding communities through empathy and engagement.
