The mother of a 23-year-old man, who died after his bike was allegedly hit by a car driven by a minor in Delhi’s Dwarka on February 3, has taken to social media seeking justice. “Being a single parent, I raised my son for 23 years with great difficulty. A rich boy who took out his car to show off and make reels hit my son and killed him. I request people to help me,” said Sahil Dhaneshra’s mother in a video posted on X on Sunday. Examination of CCTV footage and the preliminary probe have revealed that the minor’s car rammed into Dhaneshra’s bike before crashing into a taxi parked on the roadside, the police said. Dhaneshra was found dead at the spot while Ajit Singh, the taxi driver who sustained injuries, was taken to IGI Hospital for treatment, the police said. The boy was presented before the Juvenile Justice Board and sent to an Observation Home. He was granted interim bail on February 10 to appear for his Class 10 board examination, the police said.
