Personnel from the Police and Forest departments have launched a search for a woman, who went missing in the forests of Tadiyandamol in Kodagu diatrict on Thursday. Superintendent of Police, Kodagu, Bindu Mani R.N., said a missing person complaint had been registered at Napoklu police station. The missing woman, believed to be in her twenties, hails from Kerala. According to sources, she had had come by herself and checked into a nearby home stay. She accompanied a group of trekkers visiting Tandiyandamol on Thursday. While the group returned, she did not. She is believed to have called the home stay staff and informed them that she had lost her way before her mobile switched off. A group of locals have also joined the search operation.
