A 66-year-old woman died after falling from a speeding private bus at Kovaipudur in Coimbatore on Sunday (March 29, 2026). The police said that G. Kamatchi, a resident of Anna Sathukkam at Arivoli Nagar near Kovaipudur died in the accident. According to the police, the accident took place at 9.51 a.m. at Kovaipudur. Kamatchi boarded the bus bearing route number S-17 from Ayyappal Kovil bus stop through the stairs on the rear side.
