The family of a Ramanathapuram youth working in Kuwait and reportedly died in an Iranian attack submitted a petition to the Ramanathapuram District Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon requesting measures to bring the body back to his hometown. K. Santhana Selvam, 36, hailed from Anigurunthan village in the Mudukulathur taluk of Ramanathapuram district. He died two days ago in the attack launched by Iran on Kuwait. Iran carried out missile attacks on U.S. military bases, desalination plants, and power generation stations in Kuwait. Santhana Selvam, who was working as a contract labourer for a company, died in the incident. His family was informed by the Indian Embassy on Monday.
