The Opposition party said Noida evolved as an economic engine because of planned industrial clusters, affordable housing, metro connectivity, and opportunities for small and medium enterprises initiated by the previous SP government. “He comes to our State as a guest; we will treat him as a guest and send him off with respect. The words of those who are leaving are not taken unkindly. When defeat becomes apparent, a person loses all respect for their position and control over their words. Respecting age and position is in our culture and will always be. Respectful farewell,” SP president Akhilesh Yadav wrote on X. Mr. Modi, after inaugurating Phase 1 of the Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar on Saturday, alleged, “Earlier, the Samajwadi Party had turned Noida into an ATM of looting. But today, under the BJP government, the same Noida is becoming a strong engine of Uttar Pradesh’s development.” SP spokesperson Nasser Salim said, “We thank Modi Ji for reminding the people of our agenda. Noida’s growth during the SP’s tenure was anchored in infrastructure, employment, and inclusive urban planning, not in rhetoric or slogans. For us, ATM stands for A—Access to infrastructure, T—Transparency in governance, and M—Mass employment. The Samajwadi Party remains committed to accountable governance and growth that benefits every section of society.” Published – March 28, 2026 10:51 pm IST Share this: Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Click to share on Threads (Opens in new window) Threads Click to share on X (Opens in new window) X Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email More Click to print (Opens in new window) Print Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window) Pocket Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window) Mastodon Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Nextdoor Click to share on Bluesky (Opens in new window) Bluesky Like this:Like Loading...
