We seek votes as a right and with pride: Kanimozhi

“We have come seeking votes with pride and as a right, since we have fulfilled our promises made to you,” said the DMK’s Member of Parliament Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, campaigning for the party candidate A. Shanmugam, in Harur constituency.

This pride comes from the fact that the government had fulfilled its promise and distributed monthly income of ₹1,000 to 1.31 crore women and has credited ₹5,000 in advance to women to prevent the BJP and the Election Commission from dismantling the scheme before the elections, said Ms. Kanimozhi.
