The Thanjavur District Railway Users Association accorded a warm reception to the crew of Hyderabad-Kanyakumari Weekly Express train on its arrival at Kumbakonam on Thursday. The train (number: 17069/70), which commenced its maiden journey to Kanyakumari from Hyderabad on April 1, arrived at Kumabakonam around 5 p.m. on April 2. Shawls and sweets were presented to the loco-men, Anand, Karthi and Jesuraj, by the association’s office-bearers.
