According to a press release, the walkathon was jointly flagged off by N. Balaji, Director, SNHRC, and Dhanush Kumar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Vellore. Students, residents, traders, and hospital staff participated in the run to create awareness on glaucoma, the release said.
