Residents travelling between Gambheeram and Tallavalasa can expect smoother commutes soon. The VMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner, N. Tej Bharath, conducted a hands-on field inspection on Wednesday to check the progress of major road widening projects in the area. Satisfied with the progress of the works, he issued directions to the officials to complete pending works including compensation and issuance of “Transferable Development Rights” (TDR) certificates to those who gave up land or property for the project. He also directed officials to shift all 11 KV electrical poles currently in the middle of the road by March 15.
