Ghambeeram Reservoir Junction (NH16 old) -Dukkavanipalem (NH16) – field measurements being checked by VMRDA officials in Visakhapatnam. | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is fast-tracking the development of seven master plan roads to ensure a faster commute to the upcoming greenfield international airport at Bhogapuram. Among these, is the 3.8-kilometre greenfield road connecting Dukkavanipalem Junction on the new NH-16 to the Gambheeram Reservoir Junction on the old NH-16, which will be a boon to residents in the northern areas of Visakhapatnam.
