A majority of the violations relate to helmet usage, with 10,587 cases registered against riders for not wearing helmets. Police have also booked several pillion riders found without helmets at multiple locations across the city. In addition, over 320 drunken driving cases and about 625 cases of triple riding have been registered during checks carried out at various points.
