Virudhunagar town has little semblance to basic amenities of district headquarters

Poor state of basic amenities right from drinking water to incomplete underground drainage marks Virudhunagar town in Virudhunagar Assembly Constituency. This is indeed a painful thorn in the district headquarters.

Water supply is inadequate. Despite a decade has gone since execution of underground drainage began, the system remains incomplete without proper sewage treatment plant.
