Indus Action, a New Delhi-based non-profit organisation working to implement policies that transform the country’s social fabric by bridging the gap between social protection policies and action, has been announced as the winner of the 2026 Skoll Award for Social Innovation. Founder and CEO of Indus Action Tarun Cherukuri, a native of Vijayawada, will receive the award at Skoll World Forum, scheduled to be held in Oxford, UK on April 23.
