Vehicular traffic to be diverted for bridge construction in Thanjavur from March 9

The district administration has notified traffic diversions, effective March 9, on the Thanjavur-Thiruvaiyaru Road to facilitate the construction of an overbridge at Kodimarathumoolai Agazhi by the Highways Department.

All vehicles coming from Tiruvaiyaru and Kumbakonam would have to take left at the junction near CRC Depot and go via Keezhvasal Road, Vellai Pillaiyar Kovil Agazhi bridge, and Old Bus Stand Road. In the return direction, the vehicles would take the same route from the Old Bus Stand.
