ASHOK MDMK General Secretary Vaiko on Wednesday criticised Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for his remarks stating that necessary steps for sanctioning the Madurai Metro Rail Project would be taken after BJP candidate Raama Srinivasan was elected from the Madurai South Assembly constituency. Mr. Fadnavis made the remark after accompanying Mr. Srinivasan for filing the nomination papers.
