An unidentified man aged between 35 and 40 years was found dead on the railway tracks at Soladevanahalli in North Bengaluru on Monday. According to police, the body was discovered in a severely mutilated condition on the railway line limits of Soladevanahalli. The impact of the train was so intense that the body parts were found dismembered and scattered along the track. The face was damaged beyond recognition, making identification difficult. Preliminary investigation suggests that the man may have been run over by a train late Sunday night. However, the exact circumstances leading to the incident are yet to be ascertained. Officials from the Yeshwantpur Railway Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection. The body has been shifted for post-mortem examination. A case of unnatural death has been registered, and efforts are underway to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the cause of death, police said.
