In a significant development, the United Democratic Front (UDF) on Saturday approached election authorities, raising concerns over the storage arrangements of voting machines from the Changanassery and Puthuppally Assembly constituencies, as well as the counting centre. UDF candidates Chandy Oommen and Vinu Job, who contested from Puthuppally and Changanassery respectively, met District Collector and District Election Officer Chetan Kumar Meena here on Saturday to voice their concerns.
