Chandrababu Naidu. Recalling the incident, he said the woman, Vengamamba, had barged into his hotel room in Vijayawada in October 2025 and attempted to record videos. He said the same woman has now accused him of reneging on promises to offer her several high-profile positions. Addressing a media conference in Nellore, Mr. Suresh dismissed the allegations and said the woman had initially sought employment in his office, following which he had recommended her as an Anganwadi worker, a stint that lasted for about three months. She, however, alleged that the MLA had neither paid her salary for the work done nor kept his promise of nominating her for an MLA seat in the 2029 elections, claims that Mr. Suresh flatly refuted. “I am a first-time MLA. How can I promise an MLA seat to anyone? This is ridiculous. Her claim of having worked as an Anganwadi coordinator is also baseless, as no such post exists in the official setup,” he said. Alleging a conspiracy by the YSR Congress Party, in connivance with some insiders of the Telugu Desam Party, to tarnish his image, the MLA said he would soon meet the Chief Minister to explain the facts of the case.
