IT and Industries Secretary Sanjay Kumar, who inaugurated the centre, said Hyderabad has steadily evolved into a location where global firms anchor core product engineering, not peripheral support functions. Nasuni’s decision to deepen its R&D presence in the city reflects confidence in the State’s ability to support advanced data infrastructure and enterprise technology development. “We have about 40 people here… started with two back in August and we are looking to grow the number to 125 people by the end of the year,” CEO Sam King said. The company’s expansion in Hyderabad strengthens the engineering backbone behind its unified file data platform. Working in close coordination with the teams in the U.S. and Ireland, the new facility will contribute directly to advancing Nasuni’s platform evolution, file data indexing and AI integration, and resilient infrastructure design. The centre has been established in partnership with Summit Consulting and ANSR, the company said.
