Two persons arrested for throwing country-made bombs into house in Maduravoyal

The police arrested two persons for throwing country-made bombs into a house in Maduravoyal on Wednesday night. 

City police said Sakthivel, a resident of Gummidipoondi, married Varsha three years ago. However, due to personal reasons, Varsha left him and stayed at her mother’s house in Maduravoyal. 

Sakthivel and his friend Sathish went to her place on Wednesday and asked her to return home. When she refused, Sakthivel became angry and abused her. The woman’s relatives tried to pacify the couple and asked Sakthivel to leave the place. However, he threatened them and threw two country-made bombs that were hidden in his pockets. The huge sound caused tension in the locality. 

Maduravoyal police, along with a team of fingerprint experts, rushed to the scene. They filed a case and secured the two accused on Thursday morning.
