Two persons riding a scooter in a motorcade along with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder and actor Vijay on Wednesday sustained injuries in an accident on Tiruchi-Nagapattinam Highway in Thanjavur district. According to police, the incident took place on the highway near Sengipatti, where the TVK leader addressed his party office-bearers and functionaries on Wednesday, March 4. The injured, Vignesh of East Kilkandarkottai near Tiruchi, and his friend, Arun, followed the TVK leader’s van on a two-wheeler from Tiruchi to Sengipatti.
