Aimed at creating a safe and supportive space for men to reflect on their physical, emotional, and mental well-being, the Department of Mental Health Education, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatric Social Work at NIMHANS, will organise a two-day workshop titled The Men’s Wellness Programme from February 27. The workshop will adopt a holistic and preventive approach to mental health, encouraging early engagement with wellness and reducing barriers to help-seeking through a non-judgmental setting. Eight modules Spread across eight modules, the programme will address emotional awareness, stress management, building supportive networks and developing practical skills that can be applied at work, at home and in relationships. Informed by research and the lived experiences of men in India, it seeks to bridge long-standing gaps in men’s wellness and mental healthcare. The workshop will offer a structured opportunity for men to gain early support, build skills, and address everyday stress under expert guidance from the leading mental health institute.
