Police have arrested two men in connection with the theft of a rooster in Royapettah. Police said the complainant, Masood Basha, 19, a resident of Nallanna Lane in Royapettah had reportedly purchased a fighting rooster for ₹10,000 in October 2025 and was raising it at his residence. On the morning of March 15, he had let the rooster out of its cage, but found it missing after a short while. Upon checking nearby CCTV footage, he discovered that two persons had stolen the bird.
