Two 3-tier AC coaches to be augmented on Rameswaram Express

The Southern Railway will temporarily augment two 3-AC coaches on Train No. 16621/622 Rameswaram-Mangaluru Central-Rameswaram Weekly Express to cater to extra rush of passengers.

The coaches would be augmented from April 4 to May 2 ex-Mangaluru Central, while the augmentation would be effective from April 5 to May 3 ex-Rameswaram, a release from Palakkad Division said. After the augmentation, the trains would have two 2-tier AC, eight 3-tier AC, six second class sleeper, four general second class and one each second class luggage-cum-brake van and generator car coaches.
