Sharath on Monday (February 23, 2026) laid emphasis on education and quality training that would help students secure employment. During his visit to the TTD-run Sri Padmavathi Women’s Polytechnic here, he called upon the faculty members to offer quality teaching in line with the overall objective of the TTD. “The need of the hour is to focus on career guidance, quality results, and employment generation, keeping in view the future of the students,” he said, advising the faculty to pay special attention to strengthening technical skills and soft skills to enhance motivation and self-confidence among the students. Later, at a meeting with the staff members, Mr. Sharath sought feedback on deficiencies, if any, and requirements to improve the infrastructure of the institution. College Principal M. Padmavathamma, Additional Health Officer Dr. Sunil, Executive Engineer Prasad were also present.
