The Uttankita Vidya Aranya Trust proposes to translate into English the Sanskrit epigraphs from 1182 A.D. to the present date in a series of volumes. The Trust, established by Chandrasekara Saraswati Swamigal of the Kanchi Mutt in 1981, has so far published 12 volumes of English translations of Sanskrit inscriptions dating from 257 B.C. to 1182 A.D.
