Tribals of 25 villages have expressed happiness over the commencement of road-laying works to their habitations, a long-pending demand aimed at improving connectivity. The project is expected to benefit two panchayats in Anantagiri mandal of Alluri Sitharama Raju district, besides several villages in Bondapalli and Gantyada mandals of Vizianagaram district. Nearly 8,000 tribals residing in these areas are set to gain from the improved access. For years, the tribal population in these remote villages has been facing severe difficulties in accessing emergency medical services due to the absence of proper road connectivity. The new road is expected to significantly ease transportation challenges and ensure timely access to healthcare and other essential services.
