Trial begins in Pothundy twin murder case

The trial in the Pothundy twin murder case began at the Additional District and Sessions Court-IV here on Monday. K. Subramanian, the first witness, gave his testimony before the court.

M.J. Vijayakumar is handling the prosecution while Jacob Mathew represents the defence.

The accused, Chenthamara, remained expressionless as proceedings began. Judge Kenneth George ordered his transfer from the high-security Thrissur prison to the District Jail at Malampuzha for the duration of the trial.
