Traffic movement around Cyber Gateway in Madhapur was disrupted after a road subsidence was reported at the in-gate near Cyber Towers, prompting the traffic police to divert vehicles in the interest of public safety.

According to an advisory issued by the Madhapur traffic Police, the affected stretch was inspected by traffic officers, who identified the cause of the subsidence and restricted vehicular movement through the area.

As a precautionary measure, traffic has been diverted to prevent accidents and ensure smooth flow on adjoining roads.

Vehicles travelling from IKEA towards Cyber Towers have been advised to take a diversion by turning left at Lemon Tree Hotel, taking a right at HSBC, proceeding towards Tech Mahindra, turning right at the CII Junction and then continuing towards Cyber Towers. Traffic personnel have been deployed at key points to regulate movement and minimise congestion.

Officials said repair work is expected to be completed within two to three days. Commuters have been urged to cooperate with the traffic police, follow the diversions in place and plan their travel accordingly until normal movement is restored.
