Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and MLC B. Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed confidence that the ruling Congress would register a resounding victory in the upcoming municipal polls, asserting that the party is poised to secure nearly 90% of seats.

Speaking to the media after exercising his franchise at Sunflower High School polling station in Nizamabad on Wednesday, Mr. Goud said that urban voters had strongly endorsed the development and welfare initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

According to him, the government’s swift decision making, transparent governance, and firm commitment to social justice have significantly strengthened public trust in the Congress.

Mr. Goud highlighted that the effective rollout of the six guarantees, free bus travel for women, farm loan waivers, the Indiramma housing scheme, and special funds allocated for urban development have won widespread public appreciation.

He further noted that the government’s focus on strengthening urban infrastructure had created a positive sentiment among voters, particularly in municipal areas.

Mahesh Kumar congratulated party leaders, candidates, and grassroots workers for their dedicated efforts throughout the election campaign. He thanked all party workers for their tireless contribution and assured that the Congress government would honour the people’s mandate by committing itself to the comprehensive development of towns and cities across Telangana.
