Poornachandra Kumar The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will soon have its own regional party office in Tirupati, with the ground breaking ceremony conducted in a grand manner on the city outskirts on Sunday. Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP) Chairman G. Deepak Reddy, TDP Tirupati parliamentary constituency president Panabaka Lakshmi, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Chairman A. Ravi Naidu, TUDA Chairman C. Divakar Reddy and other legislators attended the ceremony held in Avilala village abutting the Chennai-Bengaluru national highway. The leaders stated that the TDP office would be considered a home for all the party workers and appealed to them to treat it with reverence like a temple. Speaking to the media later, Ms. Panabaka Lakshmi said they prayed during the ‘bhumi puja’ for 25 years of party rule to ensure that development reached every beneficiary in the State.
