The second phase of Tiruchi Government Museum, housed in the Rani Mangamma Kolu Mandapam, is set to begin soon.

A senior museum official told The Hindu that ₹95 lakh has been sanctioned as the second tranche to complete the pending repair and civic work on the building. The museum has been closed to visitors since 2024 because of the conservation work executed there.
