Tiruchi Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union, popularly known as Tiruchi Aavin, on Thursday, announced that it would offer a special incentive of ₹2 per litre of milk to suppliers for two months. Aavin procures about five lakh litres of milk from its member societies. Of this, it allots 1.6 lakh litres of milk for direct sales in Tiruchi, Perambalur, and Ariyalur district and sends 3 lakh litres for meeting the milk requirements in Chennai.
