A group of 50 devotees from Rajanagaram mandal in East Godavari, were asked to return from Ramadurgam hill following sighting of a tiger near the hill in Devipatnam mandal in Polavaram district on Wednesday. Forest officials swung into action after being alerted by the district officials about the presence of devotees who had gone to the hill for darshan at the temple. The devotees were reportedly unaware about the tiger’s movement in the vicinity of the Ramadurgam hill.
