The Hubballi Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is hosting a two-day entrepreneurial summit TiECON 2026 in Hubballi starting Saturday with focus on fostering regional start-up ecosystem.

Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Tuesday, president of TiE Hubballi Chapter Girish Mane said that the event, themed “North Karnataka Rising”, is aimed at providing a common platform to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore opportunities.

He said that the two-day summit will feature a dynamic line-up of thought-provoking keynote sessions, panel discussions, master classes, start-up pitch competitions and networking opportunities.

TiECON 2026 convener Vishal Nadagoud said that through the event the organisation aims to strengthen North Karnataka by connecting local entrepreneurs with mentors, investors and national networks.

He said that a group of speakers and industry leaders, including Managing Partner of The Last Mile John Kuruvilla, Founder CEO of Mitti Social Initiatives Foundation Alina Alam, Chairperson of ICATT Air Ambulance Foundation Shalini Nalwad, Director of Hope for Women Foundation Ruma Devi, Executive Chairman of Ravindra Energy Vidya M. Murkumbi, Brand Stategy and Sustainability Marketing Expert Vachana Shetty, Head of Investments of LUX Pranav Mahajani, Founder of wrkwrk, 99 Games and Robosoft Rohith Bhat, Managing Partner of K2W Consulting and Learning Enterpises K.T. Upadhyaya, Director Operations of Nidec Industrial Automation India Umesh V, Founder and CEO of 1BRIDGE Madan Padaki and Marketing Consultant Sanjay Arora, will share their insights at the summit.

He said that Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Pralhad Joshi will inaugurate the event to be held at Denissons Hotel in Hubballi at 10 a.m.

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar and Ministers M.B. Patil, Priyank Kharge, Santosh Lad and Laxmi Hebbalkar are expected to participate, he said.

Chapter vice-president Gaurav Shah, treasurer Santosh Kotli, co-convener Venkatesh Govindrajan and immediate past president Vivek Patil were present.
