Thunderstorm warning in 14 Telangana districts including Hyderabad on March 16

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in 14 Telangana districts for Monday (March 16, 2026)

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

Hyderabad and its neighbourhood areas for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36 and 23 respectively,” the bulletin said.
