The incident occurred around 11.15 a.m. on Saturday in a village near Madanayakanahalli. | Photo Credit: Getty Images A three-year-old girl was mowed down by a container truck near Hanumanthegowdanapalya in the northwestern outskirts of Bengaluru on Saturday while she was walking to a nearby temple with her mother. According to the police, the impact of the accident was so severe that the girl’s head was crushed and she died on the spot. Her mother, Lavanya, who was carrying an 11-month-old baby on her hip, had a narrow escape, police said.
