The Vadakadu police on Sunday registered a case against three persons on charges of selling toddy without permission at Melapullanviduthi area in the district. Two of them have been arrested. Nine persons who drank toddy are undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital, Alangudi, and their condition was stable. Further investigation was on in this case, a police press release said.
